With the Grover 409FNB Professional Machine Heads, you can take any ‘F’-style mandolin to the next level in terms of tuning stability. This set comprises eight open-back tuning machines in a handy 4 + 4 configuration, with four each for left- and right-handed players. Grover opts for a precise 18:1 gear ratio and a specially designed worm gear, ensuring extremely accurate tuning. The black, round plastic knobs have a modern look and feel comfortable in the hand, whilst the nickel plating gives them a classic finish. Thanks to the well-thought-out 23 mm axle spacing and a mounting sleeve with a diameter of 8.3 mm, these tuners are suitable as direct replacements on virtually any standard ‘F’-style mandolin.
