As a long time guitar player this was my first mando. Having previously borrowed a fairly cheap one with a 28mm nut (narrow neck) I wanted to go wider. This Ibanez has a 30mm nut making it much easier to play.
It was probably not necessary but I spent an hour or so tweaking the bridge position (for intonation) and height (for action) before fully tuning up. All in all it plays well and sounds very good. I haven’t tried the pick-up yet.
The build quality is excellent – a lot better than the one I borrowed. Really happy with this purchase.
