The Soundbrenner Core 2 takes things a step further than the original smart music tool, piling on a practice tracker that helps musicians keep track of their progress via their phone. With this function, you simply set a goal, pick your instrument and then set the start and end time of your session before you start honing your skills. Another new feature is the option to connect the Core 2 to your favourite online music-streaming platforms, allowing you to jam along to virtually any tune. Soundbrenner has even built in a decibel meter that warns you when you're playing at potentially hearing-loss inducing levels.

The Soundbrenner Core 2: The Smart Metronome

The main function of the Soundbrenner Core 2 is probably the built-in smart metronome. The watch vibrates with up to seven times the intensity as the average smartphone, meaning that instead of listening to clicks and ticks, you physically feel the rhythm — either on your wrist, your arm, your ankle, your thigh, your shoulder or your chest. It all depends on your instrument of choice and your personal preferences. Thanks to the integrated MEMS microphone, the Soundbrenner Core 2 can also be used to tune up before you start playing.
