The Triton Audio Kompressor offers tasteful compression on the fly. No complicated routing, no countless buttons and racks full of power-hungry devices. You plug the Kompressor directly into your microphone and the cable you would normally plug into your mic now plugs into the Kompressor's output. An 'inline' compressor, in other words. Those familiar with the Triton Audio FetHead understand the principle. Like the aforementioned FetHead, the Kompressor works on 48-volt phantom power and gives your microphone signal a big boost. You can then set the threshold with the 'less/more' knob. The LED shows when the Kompressor starts working. By the way, phantom power is not passed on to the microphone so the Kompressor also offers excellent protection for your ribbon microphones.
