A beautiful microphone like the Aston Origin or Aston Spirit deserves a beautiful shock mount. That's why Rycote have developed this new-and-improved USM shock mount, which was based on their popular Rycote InVision. It's equipped with the very latest technology to absorb vibrations from the floor better than ever before; in fact, the USM performs two times better than other shock mounts on the market! The secret lies in the materials used in its construction, as the USM doesn't use standard elastic bands to suspend the mic. Even though it's designed with the Origin and Spirit in mind, this shock mount is suitable for any large-diaphragm condenser microphone, as long as the diameter is between 18 and 55 mm.
