The Rycote InVision USM-v4 shockmount is a rock solid shockmount for microphones between 18 and 55 mm in diameter, for example the Schoeps V4 U. Like all Rycote mounts, unwanted vibrations are dampened by means of Rycote's Lyre design. Lyre shock absorption is much more effective than that of rubber bands, and what's more, the Lyre does not lose its resilience.
