While small, the CME U6MIDI Pro MIDI interface is an extensive little box loaded with three DIN inputs, three DIN outputs and USB MIDI ports, setting it up to bring older synths bang up to date with the USB age, and allowing them to harmoniously commune with your DAW software of choice. Another nice bonus is the ability to manage your MIDI connections via the free routing software, and above all, the ability to filter MIDI data to do stuff like get rid of everything but the pitch bends and even apply the rule to specific MIDI channels. Options enough tucked away in a tight unit, the CME U6MIDI Pro is a studio tool box must-have.

Was even zoeken, in de bijgeleverde handleiding zeggen ze dat het "plug and play" is. Maar dat is niet het geval. Je moet even het goede softwarebestandje downloaden. Dan werkt 't prima. Blij mee

Inzake de review van "krijg hem niet aan de praat" wil ik graag het volgende melden vanuit de fabrikant CME.

De USB MIDI poort op de U6MIDI Pro is voor het koppelen van een USB host, zoals een computer. Deze poort is niet geschikt voor het koppelen van een USB client, zoals een MIDI controller met een vierkante USB-B (ofwel printer poort).

Wanneer je de U6MIDI Pro via USB aan je computer verbindt, heb je beschikking tot 4 extra virtuele MIDI poorten. Dat betekent 4x16 MIDI kanalen die je via je DAW kan inzetten en via de UxMIDI software kan routen en filteren naar wens.

Ik probeer dit apparaat te gebruiken als volgt:
- input usb midi controller akai lpd8
- die akai zit op een usb hub
- op de uebhub zit ook de u6midi pro
- u6midi pro zit met midi kabel aan mijn boss rc600 looper midi in

Nothing happens.
Ben aan het troubleshooter, maar kan dit werken? Ik weet het niet.
