Perfect, just what I needed to connect my Yamaha SY55 to my Desktop PC.
The SY55 only has Midi 5 pin Din connections, so needed this to connect this to the PCs USB port, this apparently only works on USB2 which wasn't a problem for me.
However I did have to get the latest driver (for Win 10 64 bit) from the Roland website, shame there wasn't a sticker on the box directing the purchaser of this product to the correct download required, anyway downloaded /installed and it works perfectly.

This is not a particularly cheap interface cable but the quality certainly justifies that. (I originally tried a much cheaper version of this type of cable but it didn't work so, lesson learned... don't skimp on quality gear).
Once the driver software had been installed, the Roland UM-One MIDI Interface MkII worked without problems allowing me to connect and edit the programme settings of my old Zoom b9.1ut MultiFX pedal.
I'm very happy with it.

When I put it into my macbook proI got the message that my operating system was not supported. I went onto the Roland site to download the drivers and that worked fine. Gained a coaster though, which is what I will use the disc for!
