Innox IVA051 Laptop/Tablet Stand

It works well - but super disappointed with how heavy it is - doubling the weight if my dj backpack

This is a great product but can improve on certain areas but still deserves a 5 stars. First let me say, it does have a bit of weight and on my initial purchase, i couldn't obtain any info if the item was made of steel or aluminium. They need to state in the specs that it's made of steel and also, it doesn't comes with a carrier bag just in case anyone reading this review wondered. For the now price it's at (£36), you can purchase a laptop bag to house the Innox IVA051 which makes it's price point really reasonable.



The other aspect is that the tightening clamp can be made a bit longer/slightly larger to have a proper grip area. I bought it to travel with but due to it's weight, i'll be looking to get something a bit lighter from Bax like the UDG or another brand. I'm trying to minimise weight and equipment but still get the professional job done and travel easily as i have to do public transport at times and flights too. This however stays with me and i now use it at home on my desktop and it has helped massively as it's replaced the stand i used before.



The Innox IVA051 is super sturdy, well built and the click style keep it well secured. The paint job is done well, the rubbers are of great quality and keeps the stand and laptop in place. The rubbers are placed in the right areas to protect the laptops and the hooks at the end of the top stand are of a perfect height so your laptop/tablet won't fall off no matter how steep the angle is and if you have your laptop/tablet in a case.



It can be placed in a C and Z pattern and when in the C setup, the swivel style works super well. All Innox needs to do is work on the clamp by making it longer and a bit thicker and maybe make an aluminium version and they would have an ace item that could stack against other leading brands. It folds completely flat to state which is a bonus
