For those who already own a Fishman TriplePlay wireless guitar controller, this TriplePlay FC-1 is a particularly valuable addition. As you know, the Fishman TriplePlay element works via a wireless USB dongle that you insert into a computer. You can then process the MIDI signal through a DAW. This FC-1 footcontroller now also makes it possible to control hard-synths. Instead of connecting the dongle to a computer, you now connect it to the FC-1. The FC-1 then sends the MIDI signal to a hard-synth of your choice. The nice thing about this is that you don't need an extra MIDI cable from your guitar to the FC-1.

From the studio to the stage

The Fishman TriplePlay FC-1 naturally features a MIDI input and output. Because the FC-1 also features a guitar input and output, you can also route the guitar signal through the FC-1. Three heavy duty footswitches are programmable for a choice of different functions which adds to the ease of use. The bright 192 x 64 mm LCD display makes it clear at a glance how the FC-1 is set. If desired, you can connect an expression pedal to the FC-1 for even more 'on the spot' control over the hardsynth's settings. With the FC-1, the TriplePlay system makes the transition from the studio to the stage easy and for a relatively small cost.
