General

Acorn Instruments' Masterkey 61 USB/MIDI keyboard is a very attractively-priced instrument for your music studio. It has 61 large, velocity-sensitive keys on which you can play anything from Bach to Justin Bieber. Expression can be added using the modulation wheel and pitch-bend wheel, while four rotary knobs and the fader give you control over five MIDI parameters. Octave, Transpose, Program Change and MIDI channel can all be adjusted quickly and easily. Connections are easy too with USB offering Plug & Plug functionality on Mac and PC.

Software included

The Masterkey 61 comes with a licence code for Presonus Studio One Artist software. You can produce music using this DAW software that also includes 25 high-quality virtual instruments and effects. The software also has more than 4 GB of loops (samples) that you can use on your tracks. Be warned though, once you get started, you might find it difficult to stop again!
