The Alesis V49 is a compact but practical USB MIDI controller with just the right amount of functions to create fabulous music productions. That's the strength of the V49 - offering only a moderate (but definitely sufficient) amount of controls without any unnecessary extras, the slim housing of this MIDI controller fits neatly between your computer monitor and your computer keyboard.
Featuring 49 full-size, velocity-sensitive keys, the V49 offers you plenty of space to play most of your parts in one go. Would you like to play an instrument with a lower of higher pitch? Simply use the octave shift buttons! Naturally, the V49 is equipped with the familiar pitch-bend and modulation wheels, but it also features four assignable knobs and four assignable buttons - ideal if you like to work with virtual instruments, such as VST plug-ins. Eight backlit pads are the most eye-catching feature of the MIDI controller, and enable you to create fantastic drum parts in combination with the included Avid Pro Tools First software.
