This bite-size USB/MIDI keyboard fits between most computer keyboards and monitors as well as in most backpacks and, since it's USB powered, it's even perfect for mobile producers who carry their laptop with them at all times. Even if you haven't set foot inside the world of music production just yet, the Nektar SE25 is a potentially interesting investment since it comes including DAW software. The lay-out of the controls is clear-cut and covers all the essentials: pitch and modulation wheels, a generic fader and a sustain pedal input.

Prima aanvoelend toetsending. Jammer dat er aan de "2nd part" (zgn. tweede stem) zoveel functionaliteit verloren gaat. Ik had liever al die toetsencombinaties kunnen gebruiken om nuttige midi-signalen te programmeren. Bitwig Studio 8? Slechts "gratis" voor 1 jaar, daar begin ik niet aan...
