General
The Roland A-300PRO is a professional MIDI master keyboard and controller. It is the perfect keyboard for studio and live applications.
It features 32 large, touch-sensitive keys, a pitch and modulation bender, 9 rotary knobs, 9 faders, 4 buttons and a transport section (start, stop, etc.). These controllers are all freely assignable to filters, functions, the virtual mixer of your DAW, virtual instruments, samplers and effects. Mapping your software is easy with the accessory Control Map software editor, which ensures that all functions of your software (such as Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Garage Band, Logic, Nuendo, Pro Tools and Sonar) are automatically recognised and assigned.
The A-300PRO features 8 touch-sensitive drum pads as well, which enable you to effortlessly play fantastic grooves, drum patterns and samples. It is an ideal controller for your studio, but it is perfect for activating samples on stage, as well.
The A-300PRO is eqipped with USB, MIDI in and out, and sustain and expression pedal connectors. These are located on the side of the keyboard, which is ideal if you are using it for educational purposes. No more annoying cables at the rear!
The A-300PRO is supplied with a Ableton Live Lite so that you can get started right away.

Hij is makkelijk aan te sluiten via usb of midi.
de pads werken goed en de toetsen hebben geen vertraging in fl studio en sonar 8.
er is ook software meegeleverd: Sonar 8.5 LE, Rapture LE, Cakewalk Sound Center, Studio Instrument Drums(dit kost meestal alleen al meer dan de prijs van het keyboard)
Persoonlijk: de A-300pro heeft het werken vooral in fl studio veel makkelijker gemaakt, het is zeker een aanrader!!!

Bouwkwaliteit:
De bouwkwaliteit van Cakewalk (indirect Roland) is van zeer hoge kwaliteit, de plastic behuizing voelt stevig, de toetsen zijn goed afgewogen en de knoppen laten zich makkelijk bewegen/indrukken.
Het geheel bestaat uit 32 Toetsen, 9 faders, 9 knoppen, 8 Pads, Pitchbend/modulatin stick en een reeks knoppen voor het afspelen van de tracks in je DAWs.
Aansluit mogelijkheden:
Je kan de A300Pro aansluiten via USB of MIDI op de PC. Er is de mogelijkheid om een Hold en Expression pedal aan te sluiten.
De stroom wordt geleverd via de USB kabel maar kan ook via een 9V kabel aangesloten worden. (Er wordt een USB kabel meegeleverd)
Gebruik:
Het keyboard is zeer makkelijk in gebruik, voor bijna alle populaire DAWs zijn er presets ingebouwd. De drivers zijn geschikt voor Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 en Mac OSX, voor ieder wat wils.
Bij het gebruik in Ableton en Fruity loops is er geen vertraging merkbaar op de Toetsen, echter is er wel een lichte vertraging in bij het gebruik van de faders en de draaiknoppen. De Pads werken zeer goed en reageren goed op de aanslag.
Software Bundel:
De A300Pro wordt ook geleverd met een mooie bundel van Cakewalk software. hett meegeleverde pakket staat je instaat om gelijk uit de doos (na installatie, natuurlijk) aan de slag te gaan met en een mooi stukje muziek te maken.
(Het software pakket bevat: Sonar 8.5 LE, Rapture LE, Cakewalk Sound Center, Studio Instrument Drums)
Conclusie:
Persoonlijk ben ik zeer blij met dit keyboard, het heeft mijn productie echt naar een nieuw niveau gebracht. De prijs is inclusief de software zeker niet te duur, alleen voor de software betaal je soms al meer dan het totaal pakket van de A300 Pro.
