General
The Samson Graphite 49 is a full-fledged MIDI keyboard for use in and around the studio. Its neat, sober design gives it a clean, well-ordered look. The Graphite 49 is not only a joy to look at, it also feels great as its velocity-sensitive keys make every touch sound precisely the way you played it. Thanks to the aftertouch option, you have additional control over various parameters and effects. Transpose and octave keys are featured, as well as a classic pitch and modulation wheel.
Graphite 49 as a Fully-Fledged DAW Station
Besides an advanced MIDI keyboard, the Graphite 49 really also is a complete DAW controller, thanks to the various faders, rotaries and drum pads of the controller. Eight faders are provided, plus a master fader - ideal for managing the volume of tracks. Furthermore, eight encoders can be used for the controlling of effect parameters. Underneath the encoders are 16 buttons, fit to trigger events or functions. Finally, four velocity-sensitive drum pads are provided, with two storage banks, so that you actually have eight at your disposal.
Connector Options of the MIDI Keyboard
How do you want to use the Graphite 49? The options are numerous! In studios, you can effortlessly connect the Graphite 49 to a PC or Mac via the USB connector. Alternatively, you can connect the Graphite 49 to an iPad via the Camera Connection Kit. Native Instruments Komplete Elements software is included, so that you can start playing right after setting up. This complete software bundle contains countless sounds that you can use in combination with the Graphite 49.

Echter is mijn ervaring dat de velocity van de zwarte toetsen lager is ten opzichte van de witte toetsen.

Ik had er een besteld (b-stock), waarvan een pad haperde en twee toetsen niet goed werkten. Verder prima ding. Teruggestuurd, wat bijbetaald om een nieuwe te ontvangen, deze keer geen b-stock. Maar deze was nog veel erger - weer dezelfde pad die bijna niet reageerde, maar nu ook een aantal toetsen aan de rechterkant die het niet of nauwelijks doen, wit en zwart, en je hoort en voelt het schuim onder te toetsen dat ongelijk is en in de weg zit. Dus deze ook maar weer terug en dan ga ik op zoek naar iets anders. Zonde want verder zijn het prima keyboards.

Pas de possibilité de régler la vitesse des encodeurs, pas de RPN/NRPN pour les contrôleurs.

Premier Graphite 49 reçu avec deux touches défectueuses . Ne pouvant pas attendre un échange j'en commande un second et renvois le premier pour un remboursement . Sur le second les boutons de transport Play,Stop REC FW RW etc... sont montés à l'envers. ( le play a la place du stop etc...)
Je décide de changer de modèle et commande un roland A500 pro qui lui fonctionne à merveille . Le Samson n'aurait franchement rien à envier au Roland si il était fiable alors qu'il coute la moitié . Hélas le contrôle qualité en bout de chaine de fabrication doit être manquant dans l'usine..!!!! Dommage . A ce jours je ne suis toujours pas remboursé du second Samson de la par de BAXSHOP , malgré un a 2 appels par semaine ; déjà deux mois d'attente .Sans commentaire ....
