The core of any studio controller is going to be the fader which here, is even motorised to maximise convenience and is teamed up with a full bank of encoders; a complete master section; and even a full-colour screen. Aesthetically speaking, this controller is also pretty good looking as well as practical thanks to the multi-coloured LEDs beneath the backlit buttons and encoders. And, since this controller has been built for Logic Pro, the third-part plugin control is seamless - something that isn't so easy with other, more universal controllers. The CS12 also supports tasks that are specific to Logic and matches up with the unique channel strip layout and effects that come with Logic as standard, placing everything beneath your fingertips and giving your workflow a considerable boost.
