Aesthetically speaking, this controller is also pretty good looking as well as practical thanks to the multi-coloured LEDs beneath the backlit buttons and encoders. And, since this controller has been built for Logic Pro, the third-part plugin control is seamless - something that isn't so easy with other, more universal controllers. The CS12 also supports tasks that are specific to Logic and matches up with the unique channel strip layout and effects that come with Logic as standard, placing everything beneath your fingertips and giving your workflow a considerable boost.

Nektar Panorama CS12 Logic Pro Controller

This is the most affordable and comprehensive midi controller I’ve seen. The build quality is great and the DAW integration is truly impressive. It has a motorised fader and adds the ability to control every parameter of your effect plugins in an easy and intuitive way. The learning curve is really not that steep owing to the excellent online user manual. I particularly liked the option to control any parameter on the screen just by putting the mouse on it and using the fader or a nearby rotary knob to make adjustments. Setup is child’s play and takes less than 10-15 mins.The downsides are that the fader is a little plasticky (but having said that it is touch sensitive) and also that at present it is only mapped with Apple’s Logic and Steinberg’s Cubase DAWS how ever we are assured that new DAWS will be added soon.
All in all a winner and guaranteed to speed up your productions. I love it.. Get one…🙂

I use it with Cubase and I'm really impressed! They've really thought about the software and control really carefully. Being able to control plugin params using the fader is incredibly useful and convenient. The build quality's good. Very happy with it. Only gripes are the knobs on the right are a bit tough to move - would benefit from rubber knobs. The screen is fine, not too dim on mine.

Device is nice, or would be, if I could read the display. It is so dim I reported it as a fault. So far Nektar support have stated it is normal. It has entirely failed to light up at all (no backlight) on two occasions, recovering after various restarts. Also it has lost connection to Cubase on multiple occasions - although Cubase and Windows report it as being connected. It's going back... my prior Behringer X-Touch is vastly more reliable! Maybe when they get it right...

Best controller in the market. Very sturdy and easy to use. Nice app (Nektarine) to customise plugin mappings in depth. Probably still need a few weeks of heavy use as I was so used to commands and mouse. Good product overall.

hoi daar, bij deze mijn review ,

ik heb deze B-stock gekocht ( voordeel ook was dat daardoor ik extra garantie kon nemen, nu dus 5jaar, maar dat was niet de insteek....

wat een geweldig apparaat, heb me behoorlijk veel laten informeren op joetoep en uiteindelijk de stap genomen. en ik moet zeggen dat ik geen moment spijt heb !! goedkoop???? Installeren etc. was zeer eenvoudig, werkte meteen zoals verwacht. gelukkig maar want vaak lees of zie je het ene, maar als je het dan eenmaal hebt is het toch niet wat je ervan verwacht.. Nou... met deze is dat dus niet. deze werkt wel uit de doos. en ondanks dat dit b-stock is ( schadevrij en gewoon te registeren) werkt dit fantastisch! zelfs Garageband werkt hierop ( al is dat wel gelimiteerd door apple, niet door nektar ) maar dat maakt niets uit. op Logic Pro werkt dit helemaal top. dit is, voor mij, nou eigenlijk precies wat ik zocht. had hiervoor een X one touch van Behringer, maar dit is toch echt vele malen beter. alles voelt Pro aan ( ook al is het plastic ) de bediening en slider etc. zijn super. echt een aanrader.
achteraf nu ik er zo over nadenk is het raar dat dit B-stock kan zijn. ik stuur deze in ieder geval niet terug !!!.
