Expansion Potential & Support for SSL Meter Plug-In
The UF1 supports SSL's own Meter plug-in: a freely-downloadable tool that helps you visualise signal levels and can be accessed via SSL's 360° Plug-in Mixer or your DAW. It's also fully compatible with SSL UF8 and UC1 controllers, which not only blows the expansion potential wide open but gives you the option to combine your UF1 with a UC1 controller for individual control over two 360° channel strips. This is a great piece of kit. It's the ergonomics; the 'feel' of the buttons, everything placed exactly where you need it. None of the nasty plasticky clicks you get on some controllers. Extremely flexible; I have been able to set up a second Midi layer so I can also use this as a transport/shuffle controller for my video-editing software (FCPX). And it's nice to be able to see the Meter windows in action on the unit. Definitely recommend Bax as a supplier too - always around the best price, efficient delivery, and 30-day money-back guarantee so you can't go wrong.

Wat een fantastische aanwinst voor mijn homestudio. Werken met Cubase is na wat gewenning weer leuker geworden.
Het is een zeer professioneel en degelijk product. Daar is de prijs ook naar maar je voelt aan alles dat dit een sublieme controller is. Geen plastic gedoe maar robuust gebouwd en alles werkte na installatie in 1 keer. Van SSL krijg je een perfect verpakt exemplaar en de instructies voor installatie zijn duidelijk.
Ik ga mijn set binnenkort uitbreiden met een UC1 en wellicht een UF8. Kortom top product.
De UF1 werd de dag na aankoop keurig netjes bezorgd.

De SSL UF1 is een kleine, stevige controller die heel fijn werkt. De fader beweegt automatisch en voelt echt professioneel aan. Hij werkt goed samen met verschillende muziekprogramma’s en is makkelijk te gebruiken. Als je sneller en preciezer wilt werken zonder een groot mengpaneel, is dit een topkeuze!

Heel fijne uitbreiding op mijn UF8 en UC1 combo, maar natuurlijk ook als standalone te gebruiken. De built quality is fantastisch, echt een andere league ten opzichte van goedkopere opties. En wat SSL ook een streepje voor geeft is dat ze continu functies toevoegen waarmee je je workflow kunt personaliseren. De software krijgt regelmatig gratis updates en uitbreidingen.

Erg tevreden met de SSL UF1. Solide gebouwd en erg functioneel. Ik werk met Cubase en Ableton en op beide DAWs werkt het uitmuntend. In de nabije toekomst volgen de UF8 en de UC1 zeker ook.

In 1 woord: fenomenaal. Bouwkwaliteit is geweldig en dat van de knoppen ook al. Dan de technische kant. Opnieuw geweldig. Ik kocht hem samen met de UC1 en de UF8. Die 2 apparaten gebruik ik voor de 'SSL360' software en deze voor de DAW(Logic) bediening. Maar met een druk op de knop kan ik deze ook zo schakelen naar bediening van de SSL omgeving. Dat is trouwens ook zo met de UF8. Dus het hele Mackie protocol kan je gebruiken voor de bediening van de Daw en met een druk op de knop kom je terecht in de wondere wereld die SSL heet. En die klinkt fenomenaal.
