General
Always wanted to use a banana as a MIDI controller? With the Playtronica Playtron, you can! In fact, with this unique system, you can turn plants, fruits, water and even your own skin into a MIDI controller. Simply secure the connect the crocodile clips to a leaf or a piece of fruit that you want to use as a MIDI controller and you're ready to control a virtual instrument and trigger sounds.
The Playtronica Playtron: Some Inspiration
The Playtron controller obviously isn't designed for studio work but can be creatively integrated into dance and theatre productions. Hook it up to a plant and all you have to do to trigger the sound of say, a bell tree, is touch the leaf. The possibilities as far as modular synthesis goes are pretty much endless so feel free to get creative.
