The Hilec BOXRJ4XF3 can be set up for audio as well as DMX signals and allows you to bridge long distances without the need for ultra-long cables. The only prerequisite is an existing LAN cable set-up, but if you've already routed some LAN cables from your studio to the control room, then you can immediately plug in your microphone or any other compatible XLR gear.
