Aguilar's OBP-1SK is a 2-band preamp that can boost both the treble and bass of your bass guitar. Using a preamp gives you that extra bit of control over your sound. This preamp boosts frequencies from 40 Hz and 4 kHz, up to a maximum of 18 dB. The use of FET circuits preserves the natural sound of your bass guitar without causing unwanted noise. So you enjoy the advantages of an active component without compromising too much on the natural sound of your bass.
