The AxLabs PCB-Mount Pure Tone Multi-Contact 1/4″ Output Jack is a slim, 3-pin jack socket designed for mounting on a printed circuit board. Full-contact design for maximum conductivity

Whilst standard jacks often use minimal contact points, Pure Tone takes a more serious approach. The multi-contact/full-contact design increases the contact surface area, helping to reduce noise and unstable contact. The gold-plated copper contacts are designed for maximum conductivity, ensuring your signal remains as pure as possible. The fit is also of a high standard: your plug sits securely in place, which makes a big difference, particularly in pedalboards, racks or heavily used setups. The body is made of rigid nylon and can withstand daily use and installation.

Shunting: signal is interrupted when unplugged

This is the shunting version (PTT6GS). Shunting means that the signal is cut off as soon as you unplug the cable from the jack. This is exactly what you often want with amplifiers and effects pedals, so that you don’t get an open input or unwanted noise when nothing is plugged in. Installation is neat and secure thanks to the 0.25-inch shaft and the 3/8-32 UNEF-2A thread, including a matching hex nut for panel mounting.
