Multi-contact for more signal and less noise

This Pure Tone jack uses dual tension grounds and dual positive tip contacts. This gives you a larger contact area at all contact points (up to 100% more surface area) than with many standard jacks. The contact maintains a more stable connection, reducing common issues such as crackling caused by poor contact and signal drop-out. High and low frequencies are also transmitted more consistently, which can result in a more balanced sound without annoying frequency peaks.

Suitable as an upgrade or replacement

The design is engineered to hold your cable firmly in place, so your plug is less likely to come loose or make only ‘partial’ contact. Furthermore, this jack can handle higher current/voltage (up to 500 volts according to the manufacturer), which is useful for applications with higher loads.
