The Boston NP-64-B is a neck plate you'd normally find on an Fender-style guitar, however, this version is without a logo and therefore completely neutral. The neck plate ensures that the pressure of the mounting screws of the neck are equally distributed so the neck remains securely fastened soand no damage can occur to the body. This particular NP-64-B is black, which can give your guitar a different look.
