This type of Fender neck plate is a common sight on late '70s guitars and bass guitars with 4-screw neck attachments without Micro-Tilt head adjustment. The neck plate ensures that the screws can't be driven through the wood of the body and divides tension over a greater surface. Comes with four neck mounting screws.
