Instead of drilling into the body, you attach your guitar strap to the top of the neck, just behind the headstock. Fitting at the nut

The Straplink is designed to fit under the strings, directly above the nut. You simply tie it in place and then attach your strap, meaning an extra strap button isn’t needed.
