Eventide is one of the undisputed champions when it comes to professional effects processing. Since the '70s, Eventide Harmonizers have found their way into the effects racks of both studios and guitarists. The ModFactor is a compilation of Eventide's greatest modulation hits, packed neatly into one little stompbox. You can now get ten of the very best, legendary studio-quality effects on your board and at your feet and follow in the assured footsteps of artists like Jimmy Page, Frank Zappa, Brian May, St. Vincent, Eddie Van Halen and Steve Vai.

ModFactor: An Eye-Watering Array of Sounds at the Wave of a Hand

Solid, studio-grade chorus, flanger, rotary or ring modulation and then some. A total of 27 possible effects have been divided into ten categories and by using the 10 rotary knobs, you have full control over the parameters. There are 100 pre-preprogrammed effects and a bank of 40 slots to save your own bespoke creations. The footswitches can be used in two ways: Bank mode scrolls through 50 banks of two presets while, in Play mode, simply kick the effect in or out, switch between slow and fast via the middle button and activate the 'Brake' function to determine the tap-tempo.

Expression, MIDI and More

The ModFactor comes with an expression pedal input that can be set up to sweep between two parameter settings, between two parameters or a number of parameters at the same time. MIDI functionality is included so that this formidable stompbox can be easily synchronised with and operated by other Eventide pedals. The inputs and outputs are switchable from instrument-level to line-level, meaning that the ModFactor can be seamlessly integrated into any setup while this smart little pedal will automatically recognise whether the cables connected to it are mono or stereo.
