A stripped-down introduction to a classic effect, the Hammertone Flanger provides a clean and accessible set of controls so you can take a deep dive into iconic modulation. Originally, 'flanging' involved physically pressing down tape as it was being recorded to warp the audio in real-time, and is one of the oldest effect-based tricks in the book. Here, Fender offer the full range, so you can play with everything from subtle waves to extreme, jet-engine-style sonic swooshes. This true-bypass stompbox comes wrapped up in a robust aluminium box and fitted with top-mounted connection ports for easy pedalboard integration.
