Foxgear has taken another step in creating an effect that takes you back to the 1960s with this flanger. The analogue Foxgear Maitresse flanger is based on the chip MN3207. And that was also in Electro Harmonix's famous Electric Mistress. Plug in this pedal and for a moment you feel like Jimmy Hendrix or Les Paul. In the 1970s and 1980s, flanger got a boost when guitarists like David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and Andy Summers (The Police) also laced their guitar sound with that creamy, pulsating flanger sound.
Elegant compact housing
The Maitresse electronics are encased in an elegant compact housing. The pedal has three knobs to configure the tone to your liking: Rate, Feedback and Depth.Thanks to true bypass, the Maitresse is quieter than its illustrious predecessor. There is also remarkably little frequency or volume loss when the effect pedal is switched on.
