Moog is mostly known for their many analogue synthesizers, but they also offer other high-quality products. The Minifooger series, for instance, consists of effect pedals that are basically developed for guitar, but can also be used in combination with other gear, like synthesizers - a popular option among sound designers. The most well-known flanger effect is the Moog MF Flange Minifooger, which is quite popular among guitarists and synth users alike, thanks to the piercing timbre it produces when the feedback level is high enough. Take care though: at maximum position, the MF Flange can even start to self-oscillate.

Characteristics of the Moog MF Flange Minifooger flanger pedal

This Minifooger's technology has a nice retro flavour to it: BBD - Bucket Brigade Device - is an old method of creating modulation effects. It produces a typically warm sound that is particularly popular among vintage aficionados. A type switch allows you to alternate between vocal and traditional, so you can always pick the right mode for each task.
