Moving light effects are an essential part of modern productions. Briteq have decided to take it up a notch with their Tornado 7, a compact moving head that's equipped with seven RGBW LEDs with pixels in four separate zones. It has limitless pan and tilt so that its head can keep spinning forever. This moving head has all it needs to give you a fluid, dynamic light show. Thanks to the compact design, the Tornado 7 can move very rapidly, allowing for great effects.
Briteq's Tornado 7: An Overview
The Tornado 7 has seven 15 Watt RGBW LEDs that produce a sharp, defined beam with an angle of six degrees. You can adjust the colour temperature between 2,700 and 10,000K and there are several built-in colour macros, making it easier to find different colours. Moreover, you can control this fixture via the familiar DMX-512 protocol or let it run several pre-programmed chases as a stand-alone device. Additionally, there's a music-controlled and a master/slave mode.
Applications
Its powerful design and great performance make the Briteq Tornado 7 a perfect addition to professional lighting setups. It even comes with a quick coupler for easy truss mounting. The fixture is easy to operate via the clear, large blue LCD display and menu buttons. It uses 17 or 34 DMX channels. 34 DMX channels allow you to separately control each of the four zones on each LED and create wonderful effects!
