The StompLab IG is a modelling guitar effect processor with no fewer than 103 incredibly realistic samples from the most coveted effect pedals, guitar amplifiers, speaker cabinets and more - all of which have been taken directly from the popular VOX VT+ series amps and ToneLab multi-effects. VOX StompLab IG: preprogrammed sounds by category

The options and programmable functions of multi-effect processors are often, understandably, overwhelming for beginners. That's why such devices typically come with some preprogrammed sounds, called presets. To make your life easier, all of the presets in the VOX StompLab IG are divided into ten genres, such as blues, rock and metal. You'll find ten different presets in each category so you can always get what you're looking for, from the most traditional to the most unique effects. There's even a chromatic tuner built in so your guitar will always sound its best!

Create your own sounds

While playing with presets is fun, eventually you're probably going to want to make your own sounds too. Luckily, that's a piece of cake with the VOX StompLab IIG. The 103 sounds are divided into seven categories of stompbox effects (pedal), amplifiers (amp), distortions/overdrives (drive), speaker cabinets (cabinet), modulation, delay and reverb effects. In addition, there's also a Noise Reduction so you can use up to eight effects simultaneously. In fact, every effect can be adjusted in detail with just two knobs. Finally, the StompLab IG has 20 on-board memory slots for saving your own sounds!
