General
Korg's Pandora Stomp is a multi-effect pedal that - like its successful counterpart the Pandora Mini - delivers a number of guitar and bass effects that will blow you away. The Pandora Stomp offers 158 convincing sounds, ranging from amplifier emulations (both vintage and modern) to a diverse collection of effects. Take note, though: only a limited number of the Pandora Stomp PX-ST-IV Ivory pedals have been issued, so make sure you get yours quickly.
The rugged Pandora Stomp
The main difference between this Pandora Stomp and the Pandora Mini is the former's ultra-sturdy metal housing with multifunctional foot switch. You can use that foot switch to turn an effect on or off, to alternate between your four favourite settings (also selectable via the four buttons below the displays), or to browse ten different programs. The Pandora Stomp offers a total of 200 preset programs, including practical song presets, and it's also possible to store an additional 200 of your own user presets.
A user-friendly multi-effect pedal
A value controller located on the side of the pedal enables you to quickly adjust effect settings, but you can also use the free downloadable software to do that. Favourite settings can be directly accessed by means of four program memory buttons, but you can also select them using the pedal's foot switch. Alternatively, the foot switch allows you to browse 10 programs, or it can be used as a traditional on/off switch. The Korg Pandora Stomp can serve as a tuner as well, and is powered by means of a 9V battery, via USB or with an optional power adapter.
