All of this comes backed up by welcome features like a stereo FX loop, MIDI, and space for 200 IR responses and 240 user patches.

The G11: Complex Sound and Simple Control

The heart of the Zoom G11 takes the form of a 5-inch colour LCD display screen. Since it is the 21st century, this ample touchscreen eases navigation as you build a bespoke signal chain and switch through different banks and presets. Besides the ultra-modern, you also get more traditional control via a set of physical rotary knobs for selecting your preferred amp model and quickly tweaking effect parameters. Zoom have also devoted a lot of thought to the workflow-style of different users by adding the option to Play by Patch Memory for gigs, Play by Effect Board for studio sessions, or Play by Bank for set-list based approaches, so you can bring up a specific set of effects per song.

More than a Multi-Effect

The Zoom G11 includes an integrated looper with a whopping 5-minute recording time and 68 different rhythms are also loaded in and come in various styles and measures. Whether you're a Mac or PC user, you can also use this comprehensive unit as an audio interface and make recordings directly to your DAW of choice via USB. And, if you want to raise the game even further, you can wirelessly couple the G11 with Guitar Lab 6.0 by adding the BTA-1 adapter (not included).
