The G-Major2 is made by guitarists for guitarists. Studio quality, TC Electronic-grade sound is coupled with the convenient remote switching of standard effects pedals. Each of the effects inside this compact 19-inch rack unit is pure and un-modelled and the unit itself has been designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing rig. The controls are also streamlined and intuitive and can be tweaked with immense depth using the compatible software editor.
The GMajor2 has held onto all the classic TC Electronic effects that came with the highly popular original GMajor. The extra effects are included in direct response to user requests and, as such, next to the well-known delay effects (ping-pong, dynamic, dual, reverse) and reverb (spring, hall, room, plate), a whole range of fresh filters have been provided, included wah-wahs (auto and touch), resonant filters, tremolo and a panner. New pitch effects include a detuner, pitch-shifter and an octaver that can drop-under or soar-over by two full octaves.
The GMajor2 also comes with various chorus effects including the unique new Tri-Chorus, able to add three different chorus flavours for an enormous sound. Besides all of that, there's a Phaser, Tremolo, Vibrato and Flanger as well as a generous array of signal controllers like EQ. compression and a noise gate to help shape the overall sound for more punch.
All of the above can be controlled using a MIDI footcontroller which can also control the channels on your amplifier or combo. All effects can be tweaked in real time with an expression pedal and most parameters can be assigned via MIDI to the volume pedal or switch of your footcontroller.
