Klotz PW04X.200 PolyWIRE XLPE Multicore Cable, 200m Roll (4x Conductor Pairs)

General

The PW04X.200 is a multicore cable with four pairs of two twisted wires each with a conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm². Around this is a braided and tinned copper earth wire shield with aluminium foil. The individual sheath around the pairs is coloured and numbered, so labelling is not necessary. The result of all these components together is flawless and accurate signal transmission. No wonder this PW04X PolyWIRE multicore cable is a popular standard cable in the studio and installation world.

XLPE insulation: stronger, more elastic and safer

The XLPE insulation used by Klotz is not random. This material has high elasticity, more tensile strength and higher flow resistance. On top of that, it is very safe; it does not melt or drip under high temperatures (e.g. soldering), and is a Low Smoke Zero Halogen material. Finally, a very flexible PVC was chosen for the cable sheath, which means the cable does not curl but stays flat on the ground at all times. This variant is two hundred metres long and is supplied by the roll.
