The MixPre-6 II from Sound Devices is an incredibly compact, portable preamp/audio recorder designed for field-recording, sound effects, voice-over, podcasts and soundtracking as well as music in extremely high quality. Record your audio source in a depth of 32-bit float with a sample rate of 192 kHz. This means that the dynamic range is unprecedentedly high and every detail of the source material remains fully intact. The crystal clear Kashmir preamps help with this and enables you to record multiple actors, podcasts or audio clips in superior audio quality. The MixPre-6 II can be set to your own preferences and recordings are made directly to an SD card or transferred immediately via USB connection to your laptop or desktop. The MixPre-6 II receives power via a computer, wall socket or via batteries when you want to work on a mobile phone.
In addition to complete control over the bit depth, limiter, sample rates, gain, pan and a list of other functions, a connected camera can be triggered with the internal time code generator or fed via the HDMI or Aux input.
