General
The Tascam DP-006 Digital Pocketstudio 6-track is a pleasantly compact and accessible 6-track multi-track recorder equipped with two built-in, front-mounted omnidirectional condenser microphones for crystal-clear mono or stereo recordings. Two 6.3mm line inputs enable you to connect instruments such as keyboards, acoustic guitars or electric guitars (input A is also suitable for high impedance).
Recording with the DP-006
With the Tascam DP006 you can record four separate mono tracks (up to two simultaneously). The last two mono tracks can also be used as stereo tracks, providing you with a total of six tracks. The results are recorded in CD-grade quality to an SD/SDHC card (a 2GB card is included) but it's also possible to use SDHC cards of up to 32 GB. Additionally, the recorder comes with a built-in tuner and metronome.
Editing Tracks On The Recorder
Each track of the Tascam DP-006 has volume and stereo controls. Tracks can be duplicated and cut and all tracks can be mixed down and bounced to a single track, freeing up more space for new recordings. After the tracks have been mixed, you can send the stereo mix to your PC or Mac via the USB output. Sound can be monitored via a 3.5mm headphone output and the DP-006 is powered by four AA batteries (battery life up to nine hours) or via a separately available power adapter.

Thee DP-600 might seem deceptively small, which actually means it very portable, can just pop in guitar case and off you go. Might be small but then big on features. I found it very easy to use, there are several YouTube videos that can clearly explain anything you might get stuck on. The unit is very well made and the recordings are CD quality, very handy for touring musicians who want to lay ideas and draft tracks down quickly. The Tascam DP-600 comes with all the features of the old tape Tascams plus some more like the two excellent high fidelity onboard microphone recording inputs and the mastering capability.
All in all a very happy bunny and a great Bax price and their 3 year warranty, what more could you want? Go for it, you won't regret it.

Fijn compact opnameapparaat. Het is een soort audio kladblok dat je er even bijpakt als je iets op wilt nemen. Deze versie heeft geen ingebouwde effecten, maar dat vind ik eigenlijk wel prettig.
Wat ik opneem exporteer ik en dan mix ik het af in Audacity op de computer.
Al met al heel enthousiast over de mogelijkheden.

Le Tascam DP-006 est un petit enregistreur studio 6 pistes plutôt sympa à utiliser. Rien de comparable avec le DP-008 qui dispose lui de bien plus de possibilités et de 8 pistes. Mais le son enregistré avec les micros incorporés est tout à fait correct et la manipulation est simple. Pour avoir un niveau de son acceptable avec par exemple une guitare classique, il faut penser à régler la sensibilité des micros sur "High". Dommage que l'écran ne soit pas rétroéclairé. Ce qui rend impossible l'utilisation du DP-006 dans l'obscurité...

Le Tascam DP-006 rempli parfaitement sa mission : enregistrer en multipiste. Les micros intégrés sont de meilleure qualité que celui de mon PC. La prise en main est plutöt rapide. La notice (en français) est claire et détaillée.

Buongiorno, malgrado l'altissimo dettaglio delle istruzioni in italiano, essendo anziano, non riesco a scaricare la traccia prodotta in registrazione. Avrei bisogno, per cortesia, di una guida step by step dal Save della traccia allo scaricamento sul pc. Tutto ciò che descrive la Card ( Format, Partizione, Inizialing, Esport/import) è abbastanza "fumoso" a detta anche dai recensori esperti di questo apparecchio. In pratica ho registrato numerose tracce salvandole e proteggendole ma non so che fine hanno fatto. Grazie

Ik heb dit apparaat pas een paar dagen en ben nog volop aan het studeren op de Engelse handleiding, want ik heb totaal geen eerdere ervaring met multitrack recording. Wel kan ik alvast vertellen dat dit apparaatje een prima klank levert. Wat me tegenvalt is het kleine onverlichte lcd-schermpje dat je in een bepaalde hoek moet houden om het goed te kunnen aflezen. Daar had Tascam best iets aan kunnen doen, want dit is niet het eerste Tascam-apparaat met hetzelfde euvel. Ook hun guitar trainer en voice trainer beschikken over hetzelfde pruts-schermpje.

Het is een geweldige draagbare studio van de hoogste kwaliteit.
Heb er gelijk een losse microfoon bij genomen omdat ik graag een beetje wil bewegen tijdens het rappen wat daar gebruik ik hem voornamelijk voor. Tis wel ff goed uitzoeken hoe het allemaal werkt want het ziet er simpeler uit dan het is.
Verder is het design zop mooi dat tascam het niet beter had kunnen doen.
Het feit dat het beeldscherm niet verlicht is is geen obstakel maar ik zie t als een voordeel omdat je batterijen zo ook langer mee gaan.
In mijn ogen is tascam de Mercedes onder de recorders.
Je zal hier geen spijt van krijgen en voor die prijs krijg je meer dan waar voor je geld.

Petit multi pistes très pratique pour l usage que j en ai. Prix intéressant;
J'avais un zoom h1 et je regrettais de pas pouvoir faire du MTR. J ai trouvé le tascam
Je l'utilise pour des enregistrements acoustiques. Micros internes positionnes en haute sensibilite. On se fait bien à l'ergonomie. ça remplace pour h1 très bien.
Seuls regrets:
pas d'effet reverb.
Pas de rétro éclairage
