The accessory 2 GB of virtual Garritan instruments allow you to reproduce your work convincingly - whether you've created a piano part of arrangement for a symphony orchestra. You can export the result as an audio file.
Keyboard, mouse, wind instrument or scanner
The input methods of Finale 2014 are quite diverse. You might like to introduce the notes via your computer's keyboard and mouse, or use an external MIDI keyboard, and you can choose whether to record parts live or import every note individually. If you own a computer microphone, you can even submit a melody with your wind instrument. Furthermore, the program supports MIDI importing and the (now improved) recognition of scanned sheet music.

The 2014 version of the sheet music software is much improved compared to the 2012 version An increased collection of instruments and more extensive percussion section allow you to express yourself more freely. Furthermore, the simultaneous rests of various parts of multi-track songs are merged, and shared alterations are better accounted for. Finally, it's much easier to create parts that aren't in any specific key, and you are provided with more extensive control over the (un)linking of parts from the main score.
