Good, solid, and really handy little stand which I've been using for a few years now. One word of warning for recording applications: it makes a very slight high-frequency ringing resonance unless it has enough weight on it - I just keep my iPad on the stand behind my script/music even when I'm working from printed pages and that keeps it quiet. The ringing probably isn't loud enough to be heard in a live performance situation though so no need to worry about it on stage!
