Two new western guitars that will genuinely surprise you

Choosing your first or second guitar can be overwhelming: so many options, so many decisions. Fazley keeps it simple with two new western guitars that deliver where it matters most — the wood. Thanks to genuinely solid tonewoods, the Aravelle and the Delora produce a professional, rich sound you will enjoy from the very first chord. Both are available with or without a Fishman preamp, and every model ships with a sturdy padded gig bag.

Aravelle: an inspiring auditorium guitar

The Aravelle has a comfortable auditorium body that breathes pure warmth. Built entirely from solid okoume, it sings with impressive resonance and sustain. It feels familiar in the hand straight away: the satin neck glides easily and the C profile invites long playing sessions. An instrument that does not shout, but sings.

  • All-solid okoume construction — solid top, back and sides for extra volume, resonance and sustain
  • Okoume delivers a warm foundation with clear high frequencies
  • Rosewood fingerboard, bridge and head cap for a luxurious look and an organic decay to every note
  • Bone nut, mother-of-pearl logo and position markers and D’Addario XT strings
  • Supplied as standard with a sturdy 8 mm padded gig bag
  • The CE version adds a Fishman preamp with tone controls and a built-in tuner

Delora: a commanding dreadnought guitar

Where the Aravelle breathes warmth, the Delora brings an entirely different character: bright, open and remarkably mature. Its torrefied — literally baked — spruce top delivers that seasoned, played-in tone and a lightning-fast response from day one. Ideal for strumming and for singer-songwriters who need to cut through a mix.

  • Solid torrefied spruce top for an instantly played-in, broken-in sound
  • Rosewood body that adds depth for a warm, rich foundation and a luxurious look
  • Rosewood fingerboard, bridge and head cap matched in the same tonewood
  • Bone nut, mother-of-pearl logo and position markers and D’Addario XT strings
  • Supplied as standard with a sturdy 8 mm padded gig bag
  • The CE version adds a Fishman preamp with tone controls and a built-in tuner

Prefer a one-off look for less? Meet the Character. The same solid torrefied spruce top, the same rosewood body and the same premium details — bone nut, rosewood fingerboard and D’Addario XT strings — but with a distinctive finish that makes no two instruments alike. From £ 269.

Aravelle or Delora — which one suits you?

Both models share the same premium appointments: a bone nut, mother-of-pearl logo, rosewood fingerboard and D’Addario XT strings. The real difference lies in the body shape and the tonewood of the top — and therefore in the character.

The details that make the difference

What makes both models special are the small choices you normally only find in far higher price brackets:

Rosewood head cap & mother-of-pearl logo

The subtly glossy finish inspires confidence straight away. An instrument built with care and with pride.

D’Addario XT strings

Standard on both models. Stability and clarity from the very first note — they last and they stay consistent.

Bone nut

Also standard on both models. It lets every string speak cleanly and noticeably extends sustain — a detail the great guitar makers have used for decades.

🎧

Sturdy 8 mm padded gig bag

Because a good guitar deserves protection. Included as standard with every model — no extra purchase needed.

🔊

Fishman preamp (CE versions)

An elegant cutaway and a Fishman preamp that amplifies the acoustic tone faithfully. For the stage, the living room or the studio.

Genuinely solid wood

Solid wood resonates more freely, sounds fuller and plays itself in over time. Quality you normally only find much further up the range.

Frequently asked questions

What is the real difference between the Aravelle and the Delora?

The appointments are the same; the difference is the body and the wood. The Aravelle is an auditorium in solid okoume: more compact, warm and full, and lovely for fingerpicking and accompaniment. The Delora is a dreadnought with a torrefied spruce top: bigger, louder and more open — ideal for strumming and for singing along.

What do ‘all-solid’ and ‘torrefied’ actually mean?

All-solid means the top, back and sides are solid wood rather than laminated, which lets the guitar resonate more freely and sound fuller. Torrefied wood has been baked at high temperature: that makes it more stable and gives it that seasoned, played-in tone right away.

Do I need the CE version?

Only if you want to play amplified. The CE versions have a cutaway and a built-in Fishman preamp with tone controls and a tuner, so you can connect the guitar straight to an amp or PA. If you mostly play at home, the acoustic version is all you need.

Is this a suitable guitar for a beginner?

Absolutely. Both models play lightly and comfortably, and because they are made from solid wood they sound better the longer you play them. You will not outgrow one quickly — this is a guitar to build on for years.

What is in a starter kit?

Alongside the guitar, the kits include a bag, a clip-on tuner, a strap and picks; the deluxe kits add a stand and a capo. Everything you need to get going straight away.

When will it arrive?

Delivery is free on orders over £ 50, and every order comes with a 30-day trial period and a 3-year Bax Music warranty — so you can try the guitar at home without risk.
