General

The D&R GSM Hybrid is the bridge between professional audio equipment and the public telephone network; think of it as a mobile phone in 19-inch rack format. Ideal if your radio studio does not have a fixed telephone connection and you cannot use an ordinary Telephone hybrid. On the front you will find a slot for a SIM card of a provider of your choice. You send the incoming sound via a professional XLR output to a line in of your radio mixer. Then send a mix/minus signal from your mixer to the balanced line in of the GSM Hybrid and your caller can hear you too. The GSM Hybrid has HD Voice support; no more that typical nasal telephone voice, but a full, natural voice that is much easier to understand. You manage your calls from your PC with the included GSM Hybrid Control software.
