Are you in possession of an EXP510i or XP1000 PA set by Samson? In that case, the SMS1000 is an attractive accessory. You can use it in combination with a regular microphone stand to position the mixer of one of these systems at a practical height, allowing you to adjust various preferences more easily. Put the SMS1000 next to your microphone, for instance, and you won't have to run backwards and forwards between the two. As the metal construction of the SMS1000 is highly durable, continuous use is no problem.
