Devine Artis B15 15-inch Passive Subwoofer, 500W

General

A little bit bigger than the Artis B12, the Devine Artis B15 comes loaded with a 15-inch woofer for a little more power and a little more shuddering bass. Coupled with any full-range speakers, this sub will complete the PA setup in any club, large pub or small sized venue. The power capacity of 500 Watts RMS, maximum sound pressure of 129dB and a frequency range that dives as deep as 20Hz, shapes transparent, ground shaking bass. To get the best out of this passive sub, we recommend using an amplifier with a power capacity of approximately 700 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms.

The Devine Artis B15: An Ear for Design

The sheer depth of sound that the Devine Artis B15 delivers isn't all it has to offer. Every one of the subs included in the Artis Series is fronted with a solid metal grille with a layer of acoustic foam coating the underside. This is not just protective but dampens any unwanted noise. While this is a serious sub, since it's passive, it doesn't come with an internal filter or crossover. As such, it will need the help of an external crossover, amp or speaker management system that's able to filter out highs and mids before feeding it nothing but bass.

• Please note: This passive subwoofer does not come with an internal filter or crossover. In order to operate correctly, an external crossover/speaker management system needs to be connected. This system will then filter out all high and mid range signal and send only low, bass signal to the subwoofer.
