General
The Skytec SMW18 passive 18-inch subwoofer provides the bass support that is beyond most regular full-range speaker cabinets. Especially when you are using multiple top or full-range cabinets, it is well worth your while to add a nice subwoofer that takes care of the (sub-)low frequencies, so that the other loudspeakers can devote more of their attention to the medium and high frequencies.
This subwoofer has a capacity of 250 watts RMS, 500 watts maximum and 1,000 watts peak, so that a spike doesn't instantly result in a faulty woofer. A maximum SPL of 96 dB is enough to allow for bass support in pub or restaurant installations, where there isn't a lot of budget for a sound system.
The subwoofer features handles, making it ideal for mobile use. Thanks to the top hat, a distance rod can be introduced which can carry an optional satellite speaker.
Tips or comments about this product- in order to prevent overloading the subwoofer, we advise that you use no more than 350 watts of amplifier power

Ik stuur deze Subwoofer direct aan met mijn PIONEER XDJ-RX DJ Controller. Prachtig geluid komt eruit.
Die handvatten zijn erg handig bij het vervoeren (24kg), auto in, auto uit.
Ik gebruik de vergrendelbare NL4-connectoren om door te koppelen met mijn andere tops.
Kortom, super Subwoofer voor een redelijke prijs!

Ik heb een Skytec Passieve Subwoofer van 18 inch aangeschaft.
Ik heb dit product genomen om wat extra bass te krijgen in combinatie met mij speakers.

goede subwoofer die behoorlijk laag kan gaan.
een paar +en - punten.
+ mooi uiterlijk
+ gaat zeer hard (met een goede versterker)
+ handige handvaten voor vervoer
+ snel en makkelijk aan te sluiten(speakon)
+ sterke tophat
+niet erg duur
- jammer dat het aansluit paneel van plastic is
- als je hem harder zet dat je de kast geluid gaat maken
-kortom een goede subwoofer die veel vermogen aan kan en ook nog eens zeer goed en diep klinkt en in huis te halen is voor een zacht prijsje.
