For some percussion instruments, you need a mounting arm with an angle. A cowbell, for example, is then a lot nicer to play. The Meinl MC-TR2 Angled Rod is such a mounting arm, which is a lot more versatile than most. That's because it has 3/8-inch threads on the end, allowing you to mount a microphone clip or threaded percussion on it as well. The Mc-TR2 Angled Rod fits all standard clamps.
