Regardless of whether you play primeira, segunda or terceira parts in your band, the SB5 Samba Beater is up to the task. Meinl crafted the 16-inch stick from Brazilian rubberwood and covered the 3-inch plastic head with bushy felt. Thanks to these materials, the Samba Beater is remarkably lightweight, allowing you to play for hours on end, if the need arises. It's well-suited for Surdo and Repinique drums.

De beater is prima ! Voor mij de geschikte beater voor de handtrom die ik ook kocht.
Hij is zacht maar nog net hard genoeg voor de handtrom !

Gekocht, en een klacht ingediend, want er staat bij Specificaties: de Hardheid tip: medium -- Wat niet zo is, de hardheid is: zacht aan de buitenkant, en hard plastic in de kern - wat onmogelijk "middel" kan zijn. Onbruikbaar voor mijn doeleinden. Maar dat is geheel persoonlijk. Dus als je zoekt: hardheid is: zacht aan de buitenkant, en hard plastic in de kern -- is dit de juiste mallet.
