Meinl's BI1NT is a hand percussion instrument that is built around an extremely durable nylon cord. To this cord are fastened naturally coloured rubberwood shells that produce a warm, dry twittering noise. By altering the way you move the nylon cord, you get different sounds out of this instrument. It's an interesting choice that will certainly lead to some interesting music.

Prachtig naturel geluid, perfect in klankimprovisatie/soundscape, maar ook als sfeervolle toevoeging bij welke muziek dan ook. Het lijkt nog het meest op een zwerm spreeuwen of op een klaterend beekje.
