General

Meinl's BI2NT is a hand percussion instrument that is named Birds because the sound it produces is reminiscent of the twittering of a flock of birds. The instrument is built around a natural rope that is woven into a handle. Several naturally coloured rubberwood shells are fastened to this rope, and produce a warm, dry twittering noise when you move them. It's an interesting choice that will certainly lead to some fascinating music.
