The Meinl Wah-Wah Tube is a fun addition to the arsenal of any percussionist or soundscaper. Playing it is simple: just strike the tube with the included beater and then open and close the hole with your thumb to create wah-wah sounds.
The Wah Wah Tube
Made of aluminium for maximum sustain, the Wah Wah Tube comes with one sealed end and one open, indented end to ensure optimum resonance. When the tube is struck with the rubber beater, a drawn-out note is produced which can be turned into countless different wah-wah effects. Meinl's Wah Wah Tube is available in two sizes, where this large model has a lower pitch than the small version.
